Tours of The Sixth Floor Museum

AAES Meeting attendees and guests can take advantage of private tours of the Museum setup exclusively for AAES! Tours are free but registration is required. Learn more and register for a tour using the button below.


The Museum, located within the former Texas School Book Depository building, chronicles the assassination and legacy of President John F. Kennedy. The main exhibit, John F. Kennedy and the Memory of a Nation, is on the sixth floor. Learn more about the Museum, the AAES private tours, and how to sign up for a tour slot.

Inside Trauma Room One screening & Museum self-guided tours

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza will offer an exclusive screening featuring video oral histories of those on-scene when President Kennedy arrived in Parkland’s Trauma Room One and participated in his treatment. The Museum will be open for self-guided tours from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Screenings will be offered at 5:45 p.m., 6:20 p.m., and 6:55 p.m.

The event is free, but registration is required. If you wish to attend the screening of the Trauma Room One oral history compilation, please also indicate your preferred screening time.
