Best Practices in Endocrine Surgery The American Journal of Surgery (AJS) is hosting the Best Practices in Endocrine Surgery on Friday, September 18, 2026, on the campus of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The summit will convene experts from around the world to debate and publish reviews in AJS on three emerging topics in endocrine surgery. Who should attend? Practicing surgeons, APPs, and trainees are encouraged to attend to learn more about updates in the field of endocrine surgery, connect with peers, and collaborate on the best practices in endocrine surgery. New Jersey Association of Endocrinologists Annual Ultrasound and FNA Practicum The 5th Annual Neck Ultrasound & FNA Practicum will provide the attendee with a review of the core topics and skills needed to perform both diagnostic neck ultrasound and fine needle aspiration (FNA) in daily practice. This is a full-day course offered at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott with an excellent faculty. We welcome surgeons, endocrinologists, and trainees looking to introduce ultrasound into their practice or fine-tune their existing practice. This course is also valuable for physicians planning to introduce ablative thyroid therapies into their practice and need to work on improving neck ultrasound skills, including use of ultrasound for procedure guidance. Several of the faculty members perform RFA in their own practice. 27th Annual Conference of the IAES (Indian Association of Endocrine Surgeons) This year, the IAESCON theme is Innovation, Excellence and Equity in Endocrine Oncology. It gives me immense pleasure to invite you all to the 27th Annual Conference of the Indian Association of Endocrine Surgeons (IAESCON 2026), to be held on 23rd - 25th October 2026 in the vibrant city of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, the heart of India, and now an emerging hub for academic excellence and surgical innovation. Pre-conference day will feature hands-on cadaveric workshops in trans-oral endoscopic thyroidectomy via vestibular approach (TOETVA), retroperitoneoscopic adrenalectomy, oncoplastic breast surgical procedures, low-cost sentinel lymph node biopsy and other advanced thyroid and adrenal surgery. We intend to connect the Indian endocrine surgery fraternity with the global endocrine surgery associations and key opinion leaders. Efforts are on to have a "convergence session" of IAES with various international and other national endocrine surgery associations. UPMC Multidisciplinary Thyroid Cancer Symposium November 14, 2026 We invite you to attend the 2026 UPMC Multidisciplinary Thyroid Symposium, which will be held virtually on Saturday November 14th, 2026. This course provides a high-yield educational opportunity for all clinicians who participate in the management of complex benign and malignant thyroid diseases with the goal of enhancing clinical knowledge, high-quality patient care, and multidisciplinary care. This one-day, virtual webinar-based event is held every 2 years, and the upcoming 2026 symposium will mark its 13th iteration. We have a fantastic agenda lined up with a focus on incorporating updates from the 2025 ATA Thyroid Cancer guidelines into clinical practice, in particular managing nuanced intermediate risk disease.
