UPMC Multidisciplinary Thyroid Cancer Symposium November 14, 2026 We invite you to attend the 2026 UPMC Multidisciplinary Thyroid Symposium, which will be held virtually on Saturday November 14th, 2026. This course provides a high-yield educational opportunity for all clinicians who participate in the management of complex benign and malignant thyroid diseases with the goal of enhancing clinical knowledge, high-quality patient care, and multidisciplinary care. This one-day, virtual webinar-based event is held every 2 years, and the upcoming 2026 symposium will mark its 13th iteration. We have a fantastic agenda lined up with a focus on incorporating updates from the 2025 ATA Thyroid Cancer guidelines into clinical practice, in particular managing nuanced intermediate risk disease. Additionally, case-based scenarios, multidisciplinary treatment of thyroid diseases, treatment related outcomes, and novel therapeutic options provide a comprehensive multidisciplinary, high-yield review for a broad audience of clinicians and trainees. Invited speakers include keynote speakers from across the country as well as UPMC faculty from the departments of Pathology, Radiology, Endocrinology, Oncology, and Surgery who are national and internationally known experts in their field. This half-day seminar is geared for ACS Associate Fellows and Fellows with a least 5 years of clinical practice who have applied or are in the process of applying for leadership roles in areas such as: education and training, academic and departmental, and operations and institutional, both in academic and non-academic settings.
