Fellowship Match Program Requirements
To apply for an AAES Comprehensive Clinical Fellowship in Endocrine Surgery, the following items will be required:
- A credit card to pay the $150 (USD) application fee.
- Citizenship/Visa information (if not a U.S. citizen)
- ABSITE scores (U.S. based programs)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Personal statement
- Portrait photo (.jpg only)
- Residency Program Director name and email address
- Reference names and email addresses for three letters of recommendation
The online application for the 2024 Match cycle (2025-2026 fellowship year) is now CLOSED.
2025 Match Timeline
- Wednesday, February 12, 2025: Online application site opens.
- Sunday, April 20, 2025: Online application site closes.
- Monday, July 07, 2025: Online ranking site opens for Applicants and Programs at 9:00 AM CDT.
- Monday, July 14, 2025: Ranks due by 11:59 PM PDT.
- Thursday, July 17, 2025: Any unmatched programs will be notified by 5:00 PM CDT. They will be provided with a list of unmatched candidates and their CVs. (Unmatched programs are NOT to reach out to applicants until Monday at Noon CDT).
- Sunday, July 20, 2025: Unmatched programs who want to participate in a secondary match must notify the Fellowship Chair or Designee before Noon CDT.
- Monday, July 21, 2025: Unmatched candidates will be notified via email at 9:00 AM CDT. If unmatched programs chose to participate in a secondary match the programs and candidates will be allowed to contact each other to fill any available fellowship position at Noon CDT. If there is no secondary match, all match results will be announced.
- Tuesday, July 22, 2025: Secondary match site opens at Noon CDT.
- Tuesday, July 29, 2025: Secondary match site closes at Noon CDT.
- Monday, August 11, 2025: Match results announced.
