Solórzano Travel Awards and Observership Opportunities for Latin American Surgeons Residing Outside the United States Carmen Solórzano, MD, FACS Thanks to the generous support from AAES Past-President Carmen C. Solórzano, the AAES is excited to again offer two travel awards for Latin American surgeons residing outside the United States to attend the 2026 AAES Annual Meeting in Lexington, Kentucky, April 18-20, 2026. The $1,500.00 USD travel awards will help cover airfare, hotel, and other travel expenses. Recipients will also receive complimentary registration to the 2026 AAES Annual Meeting. Non-members are eligible to submit an application for a travel award and are also encouraged to apply for membership in the AAES. A call for interesting cases will be made in January 2026, and all are encouraged to submit their work. Click on the following link to learn more about the Annual Meeting. Applicants should submit a copy of their CV, a letter of support from a current AAES member, a statement detailing why they need travel assistance, and how it will impact their career in endocrine surgery.
