About Dr. Limbach
Kristen Limbach, MD is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine with a specialty in Complex General Surgical Oncology and neuroendocrine neoplasm care. She completed her undergraduate education at Dartmouth College and her medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She then completed her general surgery residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon, where she became engaged in clinical research in neuroendocrine neoplasms under the mentorship of Dr. Rodney Pommier. From there, she went on to complete a Complex General Surgical Oncology fellowship at City of Hope National Medical Center, where she continued her interest in neuroendocrine research. After training she joined clinical partners Dr. Mary Maluccio and Dr. J. Philip Boudreaux in a high volume neuroendocrine focused practice in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she is currently practicing and building a translational research program focused on metastatic neuroendocrine neoplasms.
